Bag of Donuts cover a wide variety of music from the 1960's through today's top of the pop charts, including TV shows, commercials and movies. They are a New Orleans based quartet known for their wild stage antics, outlandish costumes and strange renditions of popular songs. Since their creation in 1988, they have entertained and "offended" thousands of people by stealing their hearts as well as other peoples’ songs. Bag of Donuts remain a professional band with an outstanding reputation. They’ve won numerous awards throughout their animated history and perform 100 plus dates a year. In March of 1999, the Donuts released their debut CD "Glazed and Confused." Two years later they released their much-anticipated live CD, "Live in New Orleans," recorded at a sold out show at House of Blues. The band reinvented themselves in January 2011 with the change in front man Bobby Hoerner and the release of their EPK in August of 2011.

The band is made up of four characters: Kevin George is the thunder behind the storm, and has created an ingenious and comical way of utilizing a sample machine in conjunction with his drum kit. Jonathan Hoerner is the Kiss look-alike guitarist who makes sure the crowd doesn't forget the show is about rock and roll. Jerry Christopher, the Joker, adds more antics and jaw-dropping bass playing. Bobby Hoerner, added to the cast of characters in January 2011, has well over 20 years experience as a crowd-pleasing front man. The result has been a raw, sexier, more powerful band. These four members have many years of road training and entertaining under their belts and are ready to take this project to a new level. BOD remains a vital part of the New Orleans music scene as they continue to play large festivals, clubs and major sporting events.

The Donuts must be seen to be appreciated! There is an energy to their shows that is undeniable. They are guaranteed to make audiences of all ages laugh and enjoy themselves, provided they have beating hearts. With a little luck the world will come to know these whimsical, witty, yet humble fellows.

BRANDON GILES [MAY 25]
A self-taught pianist by the age of ?, Brandon Giles, is a force to be reckoned with on the keyboards. Over the years, he has developed his own unique sound by taking the influences of rock 'n' roll artists such as Elvis, Rolling Stones, The Doors, Hank Williams, Jr. and Jerry Lee Lewis and combined that musical energy with a newer, harder rocking beat. "It's kind of like Little Richard meets AC/DC on steroids," says Giles. Brandon can showcase his style best when playing his original music. However, his live shows are infused with a mix of hard rocking honky-tonk classics, electrifying blues and boogie-woogie standards which will bring the audience to their feet and leave them wanting more.

Giles was born in Magnolia, Arkansas where he lived on a farm for 18 years. Working as a child in the fields of his uncle's watermelon and pea patches, he quickly realized that his real life's ambition was elsewhere. After high school he left for Jonesboro, Arkansas where he attended Arkansas State University to study Communications and Art. While at ASU, he earned his real education on weekend visits to the clubs and honky-tonks in nearby Memphis. During this time, Brandon would make frequent appearances playing piano at Earnestene & Hazel's club. According to Giles, "I would play and sing in the saloons and the audience would tip me. It took about three seconds after that first dollar hit my pocket to realize that my pea-picking and watermelon-vine-turning days were over."

Upon graduating from ASU, Giles made the leap of faith and moved his musical career to the true Music City, Nashville, Tennessee. Not long after hitting town he landed a regular gig at Nashville _s premier outlaw honky-tonk club, Laylas Bluegrass Inn on historic Lower Broadway. It was there where Brandon quickly honed his craft into what he likes to call a "crash course of honky-tonk chicken-wire, brick wall, shotgun nightclub entertaining. Forget New York City, if you can make it (or survive) down there you can make it anywhere. Layla's has always felt like home for Brandon Giles and the Tricky Two Band. It fast became one of their favorite places to play, and fans can still find them there on an occasional Friday or Saturday night, rocking the house for wondering tourists and dedicated locals.

Over the past several years, Brandon has played with many notable musicians on various projects. He has played with Les Paul in Times Square in New York City, appeared on Monday Night Football, and performed with Mickey Gilley at his theater in Branson, Missouri. Recently he has opened shows in arenas for Trent Tomlinson, War, George Jones, Trace Adkins, Darius Rucker, Juice Newton, Paul Revere and the Raiders, Joe Diffie, and Lee Greenwood. He has also played with the infamous Kid Rock and the legendary Ray Charles. Also in the fall of 2010 Brandon has been cast to star in an upcoming HBO miniseries movie titled "The Million Dollar Quartet" playing Jerry Lee Lewis.

ISLAND FEVER [JUNE 1]
The Island Fever band started with a bonding between Murray and Bert way back in the late seventies. Both worked together and would typically spend their lunch hours strumming guitars in an abandoned engineering trailer in Baton Rouge.

The two started playing for beer and fun until Murray pulled up anchor and moved to Atlanta, Georgia. The duo basically lost touch until fate brought them together again in the mid-nineties when Murray was performing as a single act in the pub circuit in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Murray and Bert formed a trio including Van Ratcliff, called “The Old Spice Boys”. They incorporated lots of Jimmy Buffet songs in their repertoire and it seemed that all the latent Parrotheads in Baton Rouge would appear at their shows. The whole beach music scene seemed like a great idea but Van left the trio to pursue a musical career in West Texas Swing music. The Old Spice Boys had a good run. It was time to move on to bigger and better things.

Not unlike building the perfect cheeseburger, one by one, new additions were added to the band. New members brought in friends they had played with at one time or another and the group has emerged to include all over-forty victims of fate and some of Baton Rouge's finest musicians.Arriving on time and hoping its meant to last. The Island Fever Band has become Louisiana’s number one Beach Party/Jimmy Buffett tribute band. There is a bonding between the guys that can only be molded through years of playing, drinking and generally having fun together.

Performing all around the Gulf Coast region. From private parties and bar rooms to public events such as the Louisiana State Fair and the Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival, Louisiana's Island Fever Band has come a long way since the lunchtime jam sessions in an abandoned trailer.
